At the reception following Mayor Kevin Faulconer’s State of the City address last week, political and business leaders assembled around a buzzing 3D printer. The printer that is inexpensive is the product of a two-year-old San Diego startup, ROBO 3D. The business is targeting technology-savvy early-adopters in the bursting 3D printer market with the easy-to-use desktop apparatus. Times of San Diego discussed with CEO Braydon Moreno about the possibility and the company for this new technology.
